Termites
are tough, determined, and highly efficient pests. Chances are you'll see
no evidence of their work until structural damage has been done.
The purpose of an inspection is to determine where and how termites are
entering your home. The inspection will also reveal any existing conditions
in your home or on your property that are either conducive or vulnerable
to future termite activity.
The inspection of your home and its surroundings will be handled in a
thorough and detailed manner by our technicians. Sections of your home
that are in contact with soil will be inspected and evaluated to determine
whether termites have entered. Further, concrete floors and walls will
be examined for gaps and small cracks. Termites only need a 1/32 of a
inch opening to enter your home. Your property will also be checked for
hollowed and weakened wood, evidence of previous swarming activity such
as dead swarmers or shedded wings, and for any termite mud tubes that
have been constructed in and around your home.
The inspection of your home can be broken down into 4 general areas,
including the interior, the exterior, the sub structural area (basement
and crawl space), and the garage and storage areas (if any).
At the completion of the inspection, if termites or evidence of termites
are found, P.M. Services will issue a comprehensive report stating the
location extent of damage caused by the termites, as well as make a professional
recommendation to rectify the termite problem and protect your home from
future damage.
If termites are not found, P.M. Services will issue a Termite Certificate
of Warranty, giving your property a clean bill of health.
